Estima Ceramica tiles: varieties and popular collections

Estima Ceramica is one of the first and largest suppliers of porcelain stoneware in Russia. Estima tile is suitable for wall and floor cladding, can be used not only indoors, but also for the facade and porch. Such a material as porcelain has unique properties that determine its strength and resistance to frost. However, in addition to quality, Estima tile has high-class aesthetic properties, because the manufacturer produces it in various types of design.

Let's see the main collections and varieties of tiles.

Where is it used?

Porcelain stoneware is an unusually durable, wear-resistant and diverse material. therefore it is used:

  • in facing facades of industrial and commercial buildings, as well as residential complexes;
  • facing the porch and steps of residential and commercial buildings;
  • for laying floors in residential premises and in production, for example, in warehouses, where the flooring is subjected to pressure equipment;
  • for facing of walls at apartment renovation.

The tile can be either purchased in bulk for large-scale projects, for example, the construction of a residential complex, or by private individuals for repairing an apartment or renovating a private house.

How to produce?

High-strength material is created from natural raw materials, all stages of production are fully automated and possible thanks to modern equipment. Raw materials for porcelain - a mixture of clay, sand and feldspar. The production technology includes such stages as pressing a raw material under high pressure, cutting, dyeing and firing, as well as enrobing - this gives the desired texture.

A unique feature of the tile material is the dyeing process. The coloring composition is mixed with raw materials, so the tile is painted throughout the volume. And this means that even if the upper layer is abraded, the color will not change.

Finished samples are sent for certification.The quality department checks such properties as moisture resistance, frost resistance and durability. Based on these data, appropriate icons are placed on the packaging. Whether tiles can be used for walls or for floors, whether they are frost resistant — all this can be recognized by packaging.

Specifications

Tiled material can be floor and wall, its thickness is indicated on the box, as well as dimensions.

The thickness of the ceramic granite is from 3 to 30 mm. The floor tiles must be at least 8 mm thick, and if the floor provides for heavy loads (for example, equipment or vehicles), then 12 mm.

Dimensions

The tile of the Estima standart collection is issued in the sizes:

  • 30 x 30 cm;
  • 40 x 40 cm;
  • 60 x 60 cm

New collections of floor tiles, stylized for other materials, released in large formats:

  • 20 x 120 cm;
  • 30 x 120 cm;
  • 60 x 120 cm

Design

The tile surface depends on how it is processed. A safer surface is considered safer, so it is used for laying floors more often, but glossy surfaces that can cause slipping on the floor are an ideal choice for walls.

The tile surface can be:

  • polished;
  • unpolished;
  • lapatirovanny (glossy).

An innovative method of applying a pattern to the surface is digital printing, which opens up the possibility to create a variety of textures and colors. If the previous collections were simply ceramic tiles of various shades, in recent years Estima Ceramica has specialized in tiled decors that bring porcelain stoneware in appearance to natural materials. Tiling can mimic textiles, stone, wood and other materials.

Collections

For convenience, the company has arranged tiles in the catalog for families, each of which has several collections. In each design there are all types and sizes of tiles - floor and wall of any thickness. After all, it is especially important to combine the same shade for the repair of different surfaces.

Separately, it is worth noting the collection “Old brigs” of the “Vertical” series, which is also made under brick, while it can be white, light, red and black.

"Tree"

With the help of tiled flooring, you can create an imitation of the floor, which will be visually indistinguishable from the natural parquet, without having problems in the care and be more wear-resistant. In 2017, the innovative collection “Spanish wood” was added to the Estima ceramica collections, created in an extravagant solution in the similarity of tree species. The following series are also presented:

  • "Brigantina" is an imitation of parquet in beige, light brown and dark brown colors with an intense woody pattern;
  • "Artwood" is the material for creating the illusion of a wooden floor in light brown colors;
  • “Taste” - imitation of cork floor in soft shades of wood tones, black and beige;
  • "Chalet" and "Vintage" - a luxurious collection of light-colored parquet;
  • "Lux" - masonry, imitating parquet of cypress;
  • "Spanish wood" - the latest collection with the effect of an old tree.

Of course, whether it is worth creating a coating that is identical to wood, everyone decides for himself, because the stoneware cannot touch wood to the touch, but someone might like this solution very much.

Care

For the care of ceramic tiles require special cleaning products that wash the floor.They dissolve dirt and also increase resistance to moisture. These products may contain acid and wax.

Tilers lay the material on the cement. In industrial conditions for this there are special machines for applying cement, and in the home it is done with a trowel. The process of laying tiles is quite simple, and the cement mortar itself is prepared easily and is inexpensive, which is another advantage for using porcelain stoneware.

After laying it is important to remove traces of cement with a damp cloth as soon as possible, otherwise later, when it dries, it will be very difficult.

Reviews

Buyers praise the colors under the flooring and low prices on tiles. Some tilers point out that there is a difference between the thickness of pieces of one batch. They also noticed the curvature of individual pieces of the Brigantina collection. In this connection, the general recommendation is to buy square tiles, since curvature in the center is possible on a rectangular one.

Stylish examples in the interior

Porcelain tile looks favorably in the room for any purpose:

  • The bathroom in taste time shades becomes more modern and disposes to comfort and relaxation.
  • Ceramic tiles for the kitchen - this is a real find, because the stylish material does not absorb moisture and there are no stains on it, and it is also pleasant to clean.
  • Living in a classic and Scandinavian style acquires the luxury of parquet and ease of care.
  • Loft projects with porcelain stoneware gain new opportunities for both commercial and residential premises, because brick is now available for decoration in various shades, both red and white, to which you can choose a floor tile imitating a granite floor from the Cement collection .
