 Vetonit 4100: product specifications for residential, office and public spaces

Modern building materials can significantly facilitate the repair process. For example, today for leveling the floor does not need to use a huge number of different solutions and spend a lot of time on it. Most often, builders use for this dry formulations, in particular, the level of the brand "Vetonit". The products of this company has proven itself in the market and is very popular.

There are three types of dry composition:

  • Vetonit 3000;
  • Vetonit 5000;
  • "Vetonit 4100".

They differ from each other in price, scope and characteristics. Let's talk more about the composition of the Vetonit 4100.

This dry composition is based on cement and a special filler - limestone mixed with fractional sand. It is used for pouring on a cement base with a layer from two to thirty millimeters. Ceramic tile, stone, linoleum, wood and cork slabs, textile carpets and even “floating” parquet can be laid on the base.

Specifications

Vetonit 4100 is sold in paper bags of twenty-five kilograms. The composition has a gray color. Hardens after three hours, complete drying occurs after three days. The resulting coating is highly resistant to moisture and heavy loads, does not shrink over time. The mixture must be poured at a temperature of from plus ten to plus twenty-five degrees Celsius. At 25 kilograms of dry composition requires 5.5 liters of water.

The finished solution is suitable for use for forty minutes. In this case, the dry product is stored for about six months.

Scope of use

The leveling device Vetonit 4100 is perfect for finishing houses and apartments, office premises and any other dry areas with a cement-sand or concrete base. It is also suitable for creating a base under the floor with electric heating.

Instructions for use

In order to avoid problems, you should follow simple guidelines.

  • Prepare the surface for a bulk floor. Thoroughly clean the concrete from coarse debris with a vacuum cleaner, and also polish the base and treat it with a dispersing agent. This is necessary in order to completely clean the surface from residues of glue, paint, oil and other foreign substances. It is also important that there are no cracks and crevices on the floor so that the material does not leak.
  • Ground the base. Use a soft brush for this. After completing the primer, wait at least two hours to completely dry. It is advisable to prime the surface in two layers, so you will need less leveling compound.
  • Prepare the composition for alignment. Prepare a clean, suitable container, water and drill in advance. The optimum amount of water is indicated on the Vetonit 4100 package.
  • Apply the mixture. Use the pot right after you cook it. Fill the solution with strips whose width does not exceed forty centimeters.
  • Wait for the base to dry. It will take at least three days. Ideally, five days.
  • Sand the surface (if necessary).It requires only a slight trimming of the base, since the leveling device itself forms a smooth coating.

Important: the work will require at least two employees. Since the finished composition is stored no more than forty minutes, the entire surface of the floor must be poured in one day. Therefore, while one worker pours the floor, another at this time is preparing the composition.
